NeuroStar TMS Therapy may be covered on a case-by-case basis. We will assist you through the NeuroStar Care Connection (NCC) program to seek case-by-case coverage from your insurance carrier.

The NeuroStar Care Connection program is available to you as part of the cost of the treatment system. Oftentimes new state of the art treatments like the NeuroStar TMS Therapy are often not included in health insurance plans when they first become available to patients. It usually takes time for health insurance plans to establish coverage policies for newly approved technologies and for them to become readily available to the patient. This is such the case with NeuroStar TMS Therapy.

Thus, NeuroStar Care Connections provides you with a trained case manager to help the provider and patient with the reimbursement process. Neuronetics, the developer of the NeuroStar system, has developed this program to help patients secure coverage and reimbursement for NeuroStar TMS Therapy.

Payment for TMS is, at present, the responsibility of the patient. The cost/benefit ratio of TMS compares favorably to medication management and is significantly less than other treatments of clinical depression.
